On November 8, 2017, Taiwan Baihong Industrial Co., Ltd. sued Xuyu Photoelectric (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. for patent infringement of invention of "high heat dissipation LED device", which was formally pronounced by the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court. The first instance pronounced, rejected all litigation claims of Baihong Industrial Co., Ltd. and assumed the costs of the case.
The court rejected Bai Hung's claim.
According to the description in the judgment, Bai believes that Xuyu has been using the "high heat dissipation LED device" technology in its products since 2015 and has been sold in Shenzhen Huaqiang North and Zhongshan markets. In March 2, 2017, Bai hung filed a lawsuit against Xu Yu for the patent infringement case.

Subsequently, Xuyu organized technical experts and patent lawyers to discuss the case and analyze the supplier's support production process. The results show that Baihong's invention patent and Xuyu's products are totally different technological routes. Xuyu did not use Baihong's patent technology at all, but used Xuyu's original invention patent technology and invented the original technology of patent number CN201510187764.0.
